I love our house and garden, especially when it looks tidy. It might not be perfectly clean, but it looks pretty darn good. I wanted to share five smart and attractive ways to always have a beautiful bathroom.
Tidy Tips
Buy towels with colors and/or patterns on both sides. That way no matter how your kids or partners hang up the towel, it will look great.
Create hidden storage in the shower using a pony wall. I got this tip from an Interior Design Facebook group and love the idea of keeping all the shampoo and other bottles hidden. We are going to incorporate this into our new home build.
Invest in smart cabinetry storage. Our existing bathroom has two sinks, each with two drawers and a single cabinet. We also have two towers on either side of the sink unit, as pictured in the photograph below.
Consider using Slabs and Large Format Tile to reduce grout lines. This picture features Delta Porcelain slabs in a shower display. Less grout lines will make cleaning a breeze!
Install faucets in the wall above sinks and be sure to bring backsplash up past faucets. You can see an example in our SketchUp Master Bath vanity below. I included another beautiful example, but recommend you install a waterproof backsplash on the wall to avoid future water damage.
